4/9/2023 0 Comments Alternatives to spamassassin![]() We are still running Rspamd on a machne and it works better then Spamassassin (for us). You need to configure exim too to fight spam and if you are paranoid, there is also BitNinja RSpamd is really great with some other combinations like ESF, etc. You need to take a look back again with your setting. ![]() *Sorry if my English is not perfect, i am trying. Everything adds up and saves us alott of time investgating. I really hope you take the time to give some advice, links, options etc. (we currently pay 275 euros monthly for filtering of 1000 domains). Ofcourse not to pricey but more important is a good product to price ratio. We are currently looking for filtering of about 1000 domains. ![]() Hosted, or self hosted are both options at this point. I am looking for a Spamexperts alternative that implements well with Directadmin. I thought i could not be the only one with these problems and looking for alternatives, so let's just try to get some information and advice on this forum. So we are back to square one, search, test and spend alott of time on things we rather spend differently. Both are not filtering enough, even after hours of configuring and testing. We did go back to Directadmin with Spamassassin and also tryed Rspamd. We did not test any further, this product is just not for us. We found Magicspam, but the plugin would not install correctly, on my testmachine all domains went offline when installing it. We use Directadmin and based our research on this. We did some research oursellf to fins alternatves but to this point we did not really found a good solution. i even got a crazy offer hwere i would pay more then 4 times as much as i do now, all with the promise it works way better. It always worked untill they bought SPamexperts.so i really don't see any reason to stay or go to Solarwinds mail assure. Since the company is owned by Solarwinds, alott has changed, and really not really an improvement.įor what i have understood is the product is not really developed further and Solarwinds wants the clients to become mail assure clients. They seem to like pointing fingers without doing research first. Next to that, when we create a support ticket and need help, we get a response after a couple of days without real help. Things like sudden setting changes for all domains (turned off incoming filtering), filtering not working for a couple of days, very long delivery times, dkim problems etc. We use Spamexperts incoming and outgoing filtering (cloud hosted) for a couple of years now and have had some pretty strange things going on while we where customer. So i wanted to try gather some advice and tips on an alternative to Spamexperts. I have seen posts before, usually older or not really ending with great advice or just a dying post.
